What is Pharmacy First?
Pharmacy First is an NHS service that allows our pharmacists to assess and treat certain conditions, providing prescription medications when appropriate.
Conditions We Can Treat
- Sinusitis – Blocked nose, facial pain
- Sore Throat – Pain when swallowing
- Earache – Ear pain and discomfort
- Infected Insect Bites – Red, swollen bites
- Impetigo – Skin infection with sores
- Shingles – Painful rash with blisters
- Uncomplicated UTI – Women aged 16-64

- Consultation with our pharmacist
- Treatment provided if appropriate
- Referral to GP if needed
